Studing the Hosting Business

This was the time for my web hosting renewal. It was like almost triple the price that i paid last year. I didn't know that i can move to new hosting. So i talked to my current hosting provider & he somehow told me that if you have any problem you can move to other providers. At that moment i actually got to know about hosting migrations. Till now i didn't used anything in my cPanel account much. So, after knowing about it, i tried to search for other providers. I was shocked to see that companies are offering hosting at just Rs.79 per month & Rs.599 per year. So i talked to them & they said they will move it without any downtime. I got moved with almost 2-3 hours downtime :(. After buying that i got to know about an hosting company offering at just Rs. 29 per month & Rs. 99 per year.

So, as i already bought it i was unable to do anything. But i was wondering how do hosting companies sell at such a low prices & why there is so much difference in prices.

After that i just got to know about Reseller Hosting, that is like 29$ per month. So i took little risk & bought my first reseller hosting.

First Hosting Business

When i bought the reseller hosting i thought that i have some blogger friends & i am already in many blogging groups. After buying it took me like one month just to setup basic things. I didn't know about WHMCS till that time. So i started contacted bloggers & sold some of the hosting manually. Than one of my friend suggested me to buy whmcs & i tried to get it for free by searching all over the internet. But all i could find is cracks, i thought lets use crack what wrong gonna be with it.

All previous clients were manual paying. Just after few weeks my cracked whmcs got hacked & my reputation was spoiled among some of bloggers. So i used the original license immediately & i have to setup the whole thing again. Luckily all my clients data were safe & most of my clients were manual paying.

Sometimes people used to ask for little hosting related help, that i have to forward to my reseller hosting provider, as i am new. But they fucked up everytime, they like replied in hours & my clients couldn't wait till than. Even one day it was down for almost 5 hours. So i thought of changing reseller provider.

Reseller Hosting Study

I already got too much to handle with my previous reseller hosting provider. So, i thought of searching for the best & reliable provider. It took me like 7-8 days just to study there reviews & many other things. In the end i bought from one of the famous hosting providers at very high price. As i thought they are famous & must be providing quality support & services.

Just like the previous they screwed me up but a little faster, there support was much more inconvinient. Also there server was too slow & downtime i can't even say it was even up.

Now, here i planned to dig the things up & have to study how they actually provide the hosting. What is behind the story? What's there root?

First Dedicated Server

I studied everything about Hosting Business & Dedicated servers. All the things i was able to gather from google, youtube & other sources. So, i bought the first server : Managed Dedicated Server. Which is needed to be managed as i don't know anything about server management at that time. Quality & Everything was a-lot better than anything i ever used. All my clients were happy & i mostly had reseller clients because of quality servers.

I started affiliate business & got really good earnings. My services was cheaper, better & easy support.
